Working in both a strategic and operational context, and with immediate opportunities to achieve results, you will grow proven, practical and successful income generating programs and have the opportunity to develop new fundraising channels and programs.  Reporting to the CEO as part of the senior leadership team, and working closely with the Community Engagement Manager, you will deliver results across:

  • Bequests (gifts in wills)
  • Acquisitions and appeals
  • Donor relations and development
  • Sponsorship
  • Community fundraising activities
  • Government and philanthropic trusts and foundation grants

In addition to outstanding communication, analytical, business planning, channel development, revenue generation and program and relationship management skills you are goal and target oriented, energetic, and excited about helping Animal Aid to achieve its’ full fundraising potential.  Previous experience and a track record of success in a similar multi-channel fundraising role at a senior level is a distinct advantage.

Candidates with the right mix of skills and a sustained successful revenue generation background in senior sales, business development and/or relationship management roles keen to transition to a fundraising role in the not for profit sector, and who can demonstrate their ability to succeed in the role, are also encouraged to apply.

Veterinarian
