Puppy Preschool and Dog Training at Animal Aid

Give your pup the best start

Animal Aid’s dog trainer is here to give you the tools needed to teach your dog skills for life.

Puppy pre-school is a must, it is an opportunity to give your puppy the best start and to help them grow up into a happy and social dog.

From the age of 8-16 weeks your dog is in a critical period, your puppy is absorbing everything and these experiences, both good and bad, stay with them for life. By beginning your dog’s training during this early developmental stage you are setting them up with right tools to navigate their way through meeting new people, meeting other dogs, new surfaces, different noises and more.

Animal Aid’s puppy pre-school covers socialisation, basic obedience, curbing behavioural issues early, reward-based training and dog health.

Animal Aid will be runs Puppy Preschool every month of the year.

Animal Aid’s Puppy pre-school is $90 for 4 weeks.

If you’d like to know more or want to enrol your puppy please call Animal Aid on (03) 9739 0300.

Training for life

Puppy pre-school gives your pup the foundational life skills it needs to grow up into a happy and social dog. As your pup gets older it will begin to explore its surroundings more and test the boundaries. It is at this point that ongoing training will strengthen the bond between you and your dog, improve communication between you and your dog and help to minimise any budding behavioural problems.

Animal Aid’s 10 week group classes are designed to help you better understand your dog so your dog is willing and happy to work with you long into the future.

Animal Aid’s Group Obedience Program is $210 for 10 weeks.

Animal Aid’s Group Obedience Program is a great follow-on from Puppy Pre-school. If you’d like to know more or to enrol your dog call Animal Aid on
