Associate Veterinarian
Flexible Part-time
Location – Coldstream
Salary Range – $95K to $125K (pro-rata, based on experience)

We are seeking a veterinarian to join our team at our modern, purpose-built veterinary clinic at Animal Aid in Coldstream. Located on the edge of Melbourne and at the gateway to the Yarra Valley, we operate as a companion animal clinic divided into two teams of vets.
One team provides veterinary care to the public, while the other team cares for animals in our welfare shelter. We offer an excellent work-life balance with no consultations after 5pm, ensuring a varied and stimulating case load.
We prioritise ongoing learning, skill development, and maintaining an authentic work environment. We take satisfaction in the day-to-day tasks and processes of being a veterinarian in this wonderful profession.
The position is highly flexible and adaptable, allowing for working days and hours to be tailored to accommodate individuals with family commitments. It is suitable for new graduates seeking experience and confidence, as well as experienced veterinarians looking for a new challenge. Our practice provides a caring and supportive environment for vets returning to clinic practice after a career break. We have several highly experienced vets available to teach new skills and offer mentorship.
The successful applicant must hold a Veterinary Degree and be registered with the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria.
The salary is competitive and negotiable.

- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science
- Registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria
- Experience in a private or welfare veterinary role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
